The Denver beer guide
Denver anchors the densest stretch of brewing in America: the Front Range corridor, crowned each fall by the Great American Beer Festival, the country’s biggest beer competition. Brewpubs helped revive this downtown in the late eighties, and the city has never looked back.
Use Denver as a base camp: LoDo’s historic brewpubs first, then the corridor north to Fort Collins or west into the mountain towns, where altitude makes the first beer land a little quicker than you expect.
