The Beer Cartographer is the founder of OnlyBeer and writes its brand histories, style encyclopedia, and city guides. The research spans brewery archives, beer literature, and on-the-ground visits — with a particular edge in Chinese-language sources, covering a beer culture that English-language beer media barely reaches.

Why the pen name? Because the atlas is the point, not the atlas-maker. Every article on OnlyBeer is bylined, dated, and backed by sourced facts. Corrections are welcome and acted on.
