Lokál Dlouhá

The Ambiente group's first Lokál and still the flagship: a beer hall about 70 meters long that pours tank Pilsner Urquell from twelve tanks for roughly 1,300 guests a day. The point here is the pour — bartenders trained to serve Czech lager at its freshest, plus an unpasteurized, unfiltered dark Kozel on tap and Czech pub classics from a kitchen that takes them seriously. It is the easiest place in the old town to understand why Czechs insist tank beer is a different drink from the bottled kind. Open to midnight Monday through Saturday.
