Tsingtao Beer Museum

This is the place to understand why Qingdao is China's beer capital: the museum occupies the original German-built 1903 brewery, and the standard ticket ends with pours that include unpasteurized yuanjiang drawn at the source — a beer you essentially cannot taste properly outside Qingdao. Last entry is 16:30, so treat it as a daytime stop. Outside, Dengzhou Road's 'Beer Street' sells fresh Tsingtao by weight, famously handed over in a plastic bag with a straw.
