Qingdao's craft pioneer runs this small taproom in the old German quarter near Daxue Road, pouring its own small-batch ales in a city otherwise dominated by one very large brewery. The tap list is short and changes with what's just been brewed — ask what's freshest rather than hunting a specific beer. Hours are evening-only on weekdays (from 5pm) with afternoon opening on weekends, so it slots best after a day walking the old town.
