Societe's Kearny Mesa tasting room serves its beer the way the brewers intend: fresh, with the brewhouse in plain view across the room. The Pupil is a benchmark of the dry, bright, aggressively hopped San Diego-style IPA, and the Belgian-inspired side of the board — The Harlot, The Widow — is made with the same care.
