Beer in Czechia

Czechia drinks more beer per person than any nation on earth, and it earned the right: pale lager — the style most of the world simply calls “beer” — was invented in Plzeň in 1842. Czech beer culture is about the pour as much as the liquid: tank-fresh světlý ležák, three styles of foam, and the pub (hospoda) as a second living room.
