Great Notion Brewing — Alberta

Great Notion built its reputation on stouts that taste like breakfast and sours that drink like smoothies, plus some of the softest hazy IPAs on the West Coast — and this Alberta Arts District taproom is both flagship and R&D brewery. The original seven-barrel brewhouse sits in view of the tables, and experimental batches pour here before anywhere else. Even smoothie-beer skeptics should come; the hazies alone justify the trip.
